Yates & Company Ltd was established in 1988 as a distributor of natural roofing slates. One of the founder members of the company, Mr Harold Yates, has been involved in the slate industry for over 70 years and his wealth of knowledge and expertise in this field is acknowledged and respected by all those involved in the trade. Over the years the company has grown and we now have a dedicated sales team who are set to carry this tradition of expertise into the new century. Our Company prides itself on the excellent quality of the slate we supply and the service we provide to our customers at competitive prices. We are small enough to be flexible and independant and are available to offer technical advice on fixing of natural roofing slate, present samples and give costings on roofing specifications. We are agents and distributors for every type of natural roofing slate produced in the United Kingdom. In addition, we are importers of top grade quality blue/grey and blue/black Spanish slates and green roofing slates from North America. In particular we are the sole distributors in Great Britain for the Villar del Rey blue/black roofing slates from Spain and also for the Vermont Green slates in three shades from the Evergreen Slate Quarries in Vermont, North America.
